“Bedlam” 2014 Grierson Awards nomination

Great news today that Bedlam made the final nominations for the prestigious 2014 Grierson Awards from the shortlist announced in the summer. Bedlam has been shortlisted for Best Documentary Series, alongside Educating Yorkshire for Channel 4, and BBC3’s Life and Death Row as well as Al Jazeera series Orphans of the Sahara.

BAFTA Win for Bedlam … a reflection on mental health visibilty!

Genuine surprise greeted the team at the news that we had won the best factual series award. According to the BAFTA jury, Bedlam won for "taking viewers well beyond TV’s often shallow treatment of mental illness, with honest and genuinely illuminating interviews from its contributors."
